Spending most of my work day today trying to learn how to live stream video games. Yes, I did say "most of my work day". Hardware I got was supposed to be basically plug and play, but is turning out to be "plug and learn a bunch of stuff that feels like beating my head against a wall and hopefully, eventually play".
I've probably said it enough that they should put it on my tombstone:
"I'm the last person that should be trying to do what I'm doing." - Paeter Frandsen
Whew! After an extra long day and night I believe I've got my hardware and software configured to create a really nice quality stream of video games.
For those curious, this is all in anticipation of a 24 hour live stream I plan to do during the Extra Life charity gaming marathon in October. Stay tuned for info about one or two pre-marathon live streams I'll be doing in order to test everything out before the main event!
