    Teaching Sunday Morning

Post  jorowi on January 13th 2018, 9:31 am

My pastor called this morning. He's sick and may not be able to preach tomorrow morning. I'm on deck. Please pray that I can get something together in this brief amount of time that will bless the congregation. Also pray for my pastor's health. He's been dealing with this cold for weeks.

    Thanks!

Just seeing this now, but praying that our God, who knew I would pray today, would foreknowingly "respond" by blessing your study and your teaching, and continue to echo in the hearts of those who hear throughout this week!

    Listening now.

You pronounce Habakkuk differently to me.
I've always pronounced it like "Habbah" "Cuck"
Listening to the way you say it, though, it sounds more middle-eastern.

Yeah, proper nouns in the OT are kinda up for grabs. The language has changed over the years, so we aren't really sure about how to pronounce a number of things in OT Hebrew.

So you both could be some flavor of "right". lol!
