    Top Fifty Geeky Movies

Post  cleireac on January 17th 2012, 5:55 pm

I just posted this to my mostly-neglected LiveJournal account. It is a reaction to this post listing the fifty geekiest movies of all time. I bolded the films I'have seen, either in their entirety, or in my judgment enough to say 'I've seen them.' I thought it was interesting to see that I had seen the top twelve.

The ones I HAVEN't seen are:

    Run Lola Run
    Battle Royale
    Seven Samurai
    Metropolis

But maybe now I should put them on my list!

My memory is pretty terrible, so I can't guarantee I haven't seen these, but here's the ones I have not seen (or at least don't remember seeing):

    50. Akira
    47. Gattaca (can't remember for sure, so I'm listing it)
    44. Run Lola Run
    43. Memento
    41. Lucas (I know I've seen at least part of this, but can't remember seeing all of it)
    40. Sin City
    37. Battle Royale
    36. 12 Monkeys
    34. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
    29. The Big Lebowski
    25. Army of Darkness (I know, I know...I can hardly believe it myself)
    22. Brazil
    17. Metropolis
    14. Pi

I didn't score as good as Paeter. Sad

Okay, at some point I'll get the list and mark the ones I've seen too. Seems like a good list, from what I've seen so far.
