    Nevously Introducing myself

Post  Dreamerhorwitz on September 4th 2012, 11:04 am

Hello everyone. My name is Noah and I reside in the USA, Somewhere in Texas. I'm a big fan of science fiction and fantasy, although I don't collect a lot. I'm also very fond of writing.

Favorite films so far... I'd say Lord of the Rings, Warriors of The Wasteland (New Barbarians to some of you) and Van Helsing. Favorite comics are Army of the Dead vs. Marvel Zombies (I think that's what it's called) and Hellsing. Favorite books... The Pilgrim's Progress and Lord of the Rings. As for favorite video games, Kingdom: The Far Reaches, any of the classic Final Fantasy games, The Metal Gear Solid saga, Hourglass of Summer, When They Cry 3 Episode 1, and Fading Hearts.

Hope to contribute to SBU soon! Smile

Edit: I was wrong about the comic title! It was MARVEL ZOMBIES vs. ARMY OF DARKNESSS lol!

    Aloha-mora...
Welcome to the forum. Metal Gear Solid is an awesome game; I've spent so many hours on that series....

Hi Noah! Good to have you here! I love that you unashamedly count Van Helsing as one of your favorite films. It has not received very good reviews at all, but that hasn't phased you one bit! Good for you, and welcome to the community!

Welcome! Boy, I get busy for a couple days and miss the introduction of a fellow classic FF player!

Which one is your favorite? FF 6 (3 in the US on SNES) left the biggest impression on me, I think. Though my reigning favorite is FF 9, as it brought back so many of those "classic" FF elements.

I'm with you there on number 6! I also like FF2 for some reason. (shrug)

Just gave you another Geek Cred for "New Barbarians", Noah. I'd never heard of it and so did a youtube search. That's some serious geek going on there. Where did you even hear of that movie?

I have it in a collection of public domain films under the "Warriors of The Wasteland" title.
Also, if you're planning on watching it, I have to warn you of a scene between the villain and protagonist. pale Even though everything is left to the imagination, it's still... -yecch!

Can you take geek cred away?

I think you can. But I've never tried it. I'm a giver, not a taker. At least when it comes to free, abstract, non-physical things that cost me nothing to give away...
